Auto In-Pass Filter Centrifugal Machine
Operational principle
The rotating axes system of this machine consists of outer
shaft system and inner shaft system, and both of the two
shaft systems rotate synchronistically. While rotating synchronistically
with the outer shaft system, the inner shaft system can
also move a distance of a drum along the axial direction.
The outer shaft system is connected to the drum without
filtration pore and its axial direction is fixed; the hollow
filtration laminas are scattered uniformly in the annular
area close to the inner wall of the drum, spokewise, and
it is connected to the inner shaft system which can move
in the axial direction via the fore and back baffles, on
the surface of the filtration laminas is enwrapped the filtration
medium. During filtration separation, different from the
traditional filtration series centrifugal machine, the liquid
phase of this machine doesn¡¯t need to penetrate the solid
filter cake in the radial direction, but penetrates the
built-in filtration medium in the filter cake layers along
the closest path with the minimal filtration resistance
under the action of centrifugal force into the hollow filtration
laminas and is led to liquor drainage holes at the bottom
circumference of drum to vent out, the solid phase is held
back by the filtration lamina at the fan-shaped area between
the filtration laminas ( refer to figure 1 and 2) to form
filter cake. When unloading, the rotate speed of the rotating
axes system is reduced to the specified lower rotate speed,
the inner shaft system pushes forward in the axial direction
while synchronistically rotating, making the filter cakes
scattered in each fan-shaped area expel from drum (refer
to fig. 3). Then the inner shaft system retracts along the
axial direction and is fastened tightly, and enters the
next circle after raising speed.
The whole route consists of: feeding, filtration separation,
washing, liquid excluding, speeding down, unloading, raising
speed etc. operational processes. According to the condition
of service, the operational control can be selected between
manual and automatic control modes.
Range of application
TN Series Auto In-Pass Fillter Centrifugal Machine is a
kind of filter centrifugal machine which should be operated
intermittently. Generally speaking, it can separate suspended
liquid with solid particle between 5um and 2mm. When the
content of solid phase (weight ratio) is from 2% to 50%,
the recovery efficiency should be more than 99%.
It especially applies to solidliquid separation process
for poisonous, explosive and excitant material or material
hard to separate with thixotropy.
Performance and characteristics
1. High filtration efficiency .While filtration separation,
the filtration laminas scattered spokewisely can expel from
the drum, realizing the filtration with no filter cake and
thin filter cake at low filtration resistance. Its filtration
area is larger than the cylindrical filtration area of traditional
centrifugal machine. So its indexes such as filtration efficiency,
content of wet filter cake etc, obviously excels those of
the traditional centrifugal machine with cylindrical filtration
area.
2. The filter cake can be pushed forward automatically at
low speed, and there is no mechanical components scraping
the solid phase during unloading, so the crystal grain and
purity of the solid phase are protected very well.
3. During unloading, the direction of the centrifugal force
thrown on the filter cake is parallel to the surface of
the filtration medium, so the filter cake has the trend
of leaving the filtration laminas, and the filter cakes
are scatted in fan shape between the filtration laminas,
so the filter cakes can be unloaded completely, with no
material deposit and no residue filter cake layers on the
filtration medium. The filtration medium can be reused easily
and has long service life.
4. The airtight operation of the overall process and the
automatic control can be realized. According to the concrete
technics and material characteristics, the operational parameters
can be specified at one shot, that is to say that the exchange
and control of each operational process can be automatically
realized by PLC programmable controller (such as feeding,
filtration, washing, liquid excluding, unloading etc), and
the manual control operation can also be selected if necessary.
5. Characteristics of high filtration efficiency, short
assistant work time and able to be operated with no worker.
At the same time, realizing the airtight automatic operation,
and the work environment and operational conditions being
improved ultimately, and the labor cost is greatly reduced.
6. Relative to the inverting filter centrifugal machine
with the similar function, because this machine can be unloaded
without the filter bag being overturned repeatedly, so the
life of the filtration medium can be obviously enhanced,
and the axial distance moved during unloading is a width
of a drum, that is only half of the distance which the inverting
filter centrifugal machine moves in axial direction, so
the length of the overall machine is decreased by width
of two drums, and the floor space of this machine is greatly
reduced compared with the inverting filter centrifugal machine.
